Firefighters are a tightly-knit family. We look out for each other as we work to protect lives and property in our community with dedication and courage.
The Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Company is a volunteer-run agency that includes volunteer firefighters, and many non-emergency volunteers who help with fundraising and other necessary behind-the-scenes tasks. Our Company also includes 25 active volunteers and nine paid staff members who are supported by the Rockingham County Fire Department, Company 90. The Rockingham County paid staff members are present at the fire station 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to manage calls, and station maintenance and upkeep.
